I'm having problems downloading/installing the VPN client

If you are having issues with downloading or installing the VPN client software there are a few things you can do.

Firstly to install software on most computer systems you need to be an Admin user. The VPN client needs to write files to the system folder which normal users are not permitted to do. So if you log into your PC as an Admin you will be able to install the VPN client software.

Secondly there are a few antivirus software packages (McAfee being one of them) that can block driver changes, so the other thing you can do is disable your antivirus software during install. If you continue to have problems then get in touch with us and we'll do our best to help sort them out.

In the middle-right part of the page, enter ID and password provided by PayPal. If you don't have ID and password you can obtain it via your PayPal account:

 

To obtain your ID and password

Login to your paypal account

Click on "view all transactions"

Click on my expat payment "details"

Click on relates to "Sxxxxxxxxx"   

Here you will see the ID and password

 

When you download the installation package, run it and follow the installation guide: http://www.my-expat-network.com/uk/install-the-vpn-uk/    

When you finish the installation and start your VPN connection, blue and green icon should appear in the system tray.

Now you can visit our webpage: www.my-expat-telly.com where you can find a list of available channels.

 

Mac OSX:

Log in with the ID and password provided by PayPal:

In the middle-right part of the page, enter ID and password provided by PayPal and select MAC OSX as Download Type. If you don't have ID and password you can obtain it via your PayPal account:

 

To obtain your ID and password

Login to your paypal account

Click on "view all transactions"

Here you will see the ID and password

 

 

Select Mac OSX as Download type.

The download will automatically start in your Downloads folder.

Drag it into Applications folder.

    I have tried the above with no success. I have a Windows 7 64 bit operating system. I get a screen that asks me if I want to save the download I select OK and nothing happens.

    Same as above on my PC with Windows 7.  Got a message from Mark which sounded hopeful but when I looked for the Network Connection, I was looking for TAP Win 32 Adapter V9 and it was not there.

    I am only doing this for my husband and have almost given up the will to live.  Please give one final piece of good advice or I will try to get my money back from Paypay.  Helppppppp
